My goal is to provide you with gorgeous artwork depicting your furry loved ones. From beginning to end I will help guide you in both preparing for the shoot, and choosing the images that best depict the personality of your pet and shows off the bond you share.
The Booking
Once the session is booked and your session fee collected, we will discuss in detail the backdrop for our session. We may choose your home, my studio, or perhaps another location that will provide us a great variety of images for your gallery. Any concerns about your pet, your session, or specific requests can be discussed at this point, prior to our session date, so that everyone can just relax and have FUN on the day of our shoot. I will send a portrait agreement for your to sign and return that outline our portrait and ordering sessions.
Session Day
The day of our session, I will give you a time to meet, usually either early morning or late evening (about an hour or two before sunset). Please make sure that your pet is clean and/ or groomed so that they may look their best. Feel free to bring along any special treats or toys that are great for getting your pet’s attention. If there are any dietary restrictions that I need to be aware of, please make me aware of them as I will have plenty treats up my sleeve as well! A typical session lasts about an hour, however we will stay long enough to capture enough images to give you a gallery of AT LEAST 30 images.
Dress comfortably, but keep in mind I may ask you to step in for a shot that captures the bond you share. If we are shooting at your home, be mindful of rooms with good window light and try to declutter these areas. We may move small furniture around as well.
After the Session
Believe it or not, the fun is just beginning! At the conclusion of our shooting session we will schedule our Ordering session. Seven days before your scheduled ordering session, you will be provided with a link to a sideshow of your images. These seven days give you and your family time to view your images and get an idea of your favorites. Any members that will be part of the planning of your art pieces need to plan to attend our ordering session. Together we will go through your gallery, one image at a time, and select your images that you would like to create into your artwork. I will have product samples present so that you can get a sense of the quality of products we can create. Collection Pricing supplied to you at booking are good for the ordering session day only. Ala Cart items purchased in addition to collections will be discounted 20% for the day of the ordering session only. I will collect a 50% order deposit at this time and your art pieces will begin the creation process! Any orders placed after the ordering session will be available at Ala Cart Pricing Only. Orders typically take 3-4 weeks to complete and I will let you know as soon as they arrive.
The Reveal
The day is finally here I will deliver your artwork to you either at your home, or another chosen location. The remaining balance will be due for your order at this time. We will go over the pieces and I will be glad to go over any questions you have about their care and hanging.
We offer two types of client sessions.
INVESTMENT
The Beginner Session $85
An abreviated session that is great for puppies with short attention spans or for those who are not quite ready for a full 1-2 hour session. Shoot time is under an hour and is limited one location and covers up to 2 pets.
The Signature Session $150
Experience the fun of a full session with up to 2 hours of shoot time. It can include several locations including your home, a park, or several other locations that I can help you select. These sessions provide you with a large gallery to choose from and are the perfect choice for those wanting a coffee table album or just a lot of variety. These sessions provide a great time for everyone and are super relaxed!
Both sessions cover the time needed to create beautiful and unique galleries for your pets! Products may be purchased Ala Carte or in one of our Packages. Packages are created to be full of wonderful items at a great value and include up to a 35% discount off of regular prices. Additional incentives are available if a package deposit is made at the time of your session! Packages start at $500 and include exclusive items such as The Pick of the Litter, which includes 20 images from your gallery in either print or digital frame format.
